SECA’s Mission Statement:

• To look after the interests of its members by providing a communications channel with relevant authorities and trade institutions,
• To provide skill enhancement opportunities to members, and
• To organise various activities for members to foster better relationships.

With the above objectives in mind, SECA is currently a member of the following organisations:

• The Specialists Trade Alliance of Singapore (STAS)
• The Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCCI)
• The ASEAN Federation of Electrical Engineering Contractors (AFEEC)
• The Federation of Asian and Pacific Electrical Contractors Associations (FAPECA)

SECA’s active participation in STAS’ activities creates another platform for our members’ voices to be heard by the various industries and relevant authorities concerned. SECA is also well-represented in various Enterprise Singapore “Singapore Standards Committees and Sub-Committees” to ensure that we continue to play an influential role in our related trades and industries.

SECA constantly provides our members with various updates from the industry industry, affiliated associations and institutions, and government authorities etc. Our networking events and Annual Golf Tournaments are examples of activities held to nurture close bonds among members and trade associates. Besides these, SECA also contributes to charitable and educational organisations as part of its Social Responsibility Programme.

Being a SECA Member:
Membership to SECA is open to all electrical contractors, trading companies in related business and licensed electrical workers. SECA functions as strictly non-discriminatory (eg. age, gender, race, religion, language, nationality, marital status etc.). There are no restrictions to the membership size of the Association.
